Owner’s Representative: Why you need one

An owner’s representative’s role is to advocate for your best interests if you are unable to frequently visit the job site. We apply excellent project management skills and a proven track record of coordinating team members, schedules, materials, equipment, and budgets to make sure your project goals are achieved.

There are many inherent risks in a significant capital project. Many moving parts are involved, with a lot of money at stake. Moreover, each project is unique, with substantial differences in scope, objectives, budget, teams, schedules, and regulations.

Even experienced owners can be overwhelmed by the increasing complexity of today’s projects. And as an owner, you already have a full set of existing responsibilities outside the project.

But with expertise in all aspects of construction (planning, design, architecture, engineering, etc.), an owner’s representative’s only interest is executing the owner’s project goals and objectives.

When to hire an owner’s representative

When hiring an owner’s representative, the earlier in the project, the better. We recommend bringing us in at the planning stage to make sure the architect and design team is producing documents that match your expectations.
