Challenges: This job was done in two phases over the course of about four years, including a whole house remodel and a large home addition. This Whitefish Bay property was located along a bluff on Lake Michigan, and a big challenge for our team was the extra safety precautions we had to take with the addition to ensure their home would remain stable so close to the shoreline.
Unique Circumstances: This home had several neighboring properties surrounding it, which made the construction of this home a unique challenge. The construction was so extensive that the neighboring houses needed 16-foot temporary walls erected to protect them from collapsing into the excavated earth.
Results: This project took a long time to finish, but the result was a beautifully renovated house this Whitefish Bay family continues to enjoy!
